Hey Yall! Well this past weekend was SO much fun. Ginny and Tiye and Alex and a few other UGA folk came down to the V-Town for a fun and fabulous week, hooray! haha... No, really. I had the most fun Ive had in a while this past weekend (except for my roomie getting super pissed, and having to make new Kool-aid for her- In which I guessed the flavor, because she wouldnt tell me... damn I live in Hell) I even had fun being the DD and watching Ginny lick the elevator... and playing DDR (dance dance revolution). AND even though JPeezies was lame, and so was that party (kinda). AND even though we watched America's Next Top Model for like 6 hours (I actually think that was the most fun... and Im not joking, and it's sad, hahaha). I guess that really proves the point that you can have fun in whatever you do if youre with the right people!
Well... this week is BIG and LITTLE week (for Chi-O). Im really excited, even though there was some mix-ups in the matching of the girls. Don't get me wrong, Im thrilled to have who I got paired with... It's just not the girl I was expecting to get. I know that there was one girl in particular that had said she wanted me as her big... and I really wanted her too! But because of that mix up, we didnt get paired. I hope she's not upset... I mean everything happens for a reason. Everything will work out for the best!
Well, Im a little krunk-en right now... I just got my English test back and it was a 98! haha! I dont feel so stupid anymore!!! YEAH!
Okay, I just thought I would point out one more thing before I head on out... BATH AND BODY WORKS is sooooo GAY! Don't ask questions, just accept the statement as true... and bear in mind this next time you come in the store and some one asks you if you want to have a demo, or if they can help you find a signature home fragrance....it's because it's been practiced! Hey Yall! I did a little bit of redecorating to Minday de Colleen... I hope you like it! Well, school is OFFICIALLY back in session, and Im already OFFICIALLY stressed out! Okay, here's my class schedule... 1. Zoology + Lab 2.Organic Chem + Lab 3.Latin 4.World Lit 5.Latin Dance/Fitness! Man, Im in for a treat this semester. My O.Chem professor told us today that if we "dont make an A in the class, we might as well just forget about applying to med school"... and that "we should be studying 3 hours PER day for his class alone". Hey Yall! Well, I usually like to title my entry with something a little more meaningful and thought provoking... but not today! haha. For anyone that ISNT taken in by the ever so mesmorizing "Family Guy"... uh, lemme break it down for you. So, guess what you guys?! I LOVE SUMMER! I just started a job at Bath and Body Works, so if you feel the urge, drop by the Savannah Mall for a hand massage or product sampling... Ill be delighted to assist! I also started CHEM1212 at AASU today (im not as thrilled about that). But the best part is being home with all my old friends! I never knew how much fun I had with everyone until I came back. Dont get me wrong, I love Valdosta and VSU... but .... Anyways,

Hey Yall! Well once again, Im sucked away from my diligent studys to these stupid computer sites that are my demise! If it werent for mindsay.com and thefacebook.com, I might have actually gotten some studying done in the past few days. But I think Im doing pretty well so far, since I have done half of an outline, and taken notes from a few chapters in a book, and went over some notes that Ive been taking in class... I deserved a break! So here I am!! I just keep thinking that there are only 2 more days of school, a move out day, and Im home free! Savannah here I come!!!! Not soon after, I will have to start working and going to my summer classes though... sucks to be me! Haha, oh well...
Well I dont really have much to write about. Everything that has been going on in my life is pretty public knowledge by now... and if anyone's left in the dark, or feels like they are dying to know about me... Hey Yall! Good Lord almighty, Jesus, and the saints!! As insanly busy as my life has been in the past week, Im happy to say Im done and over with the majority of it! I got my paper (8 pages, along with a 6 page outline, rough draft, prewrite, 17 notecards, and 17 cited sources) DONE! I think that I should be named "Queen of all that is Procrastination"...and I will accept my crown and all that it comes with tomorrow (hehe, there goes my wit again... im so funny!). But no, seriously... I had all that to do, due by Friday at 9am and I didnt start until Wed. night. I LOSE, but this time it was my fault.
"THIS IS HOW WE BREAK IT DOWN!"- Chi Omega Step. Weeeeell, the culmination of (as I said earlier) all my time, money, and efforts was on Friday... the STEP SHOW!! We went dead last, but it was okay. Our theme was "jail" and we freaking kicked butt. I stepped SO hard, I couldnt even feel my hands... and my eyes watered up, so I could barley see either. I was in a trance! We ended up getting 3rd place... which was a HUGE accomplishment considering we beat who we wanted to, and actually placed. We were only a few 10ths of a point off from 2nd, but no biggie! If anyone wants to see it, Im going to get a DVD made from a tape, and Ill either send it to you, or you can see it in Savannah next time were all in.
2 stresses down, 1 to go! No date for me! I have formal this weekend (April 16th) and I still dont have a date. I brought home some of my old dresses to wear, but have been too afraid to try any of them on because I feel FAT! Oh, and did I mention I DONT HAVE A DATE. -And the cycle continues... It wouldnt be that bad if I wasnt the only one, but it looks like I am... haha I LOSE! To be honest, I would rather go by myself than take someone I would have to "babysit" all night, or that I barely even know... so I guess all isnt lost. *Sigh, if only I had the courage to ask "sexy p.s. boy" (I have to be discreate because I put a link to my blog on facebook, ahaha... but yall know who im talking about) Just know that... When life gets ya down... remember...youre not the only one who LOSES!
Okay, how stupid am I... This morning I thought it was Sunday and missed my first 2 classes. Stupid thing #2... I left my phone charger in Athens. So, yall dont think im being rude by not answering your calls... or calling you back. I try and charge my phone when I can using Brandon's roommate's phone charger, or I try and charge it in my car on the way to WalMart. Just leave a message, and Ill call you when I got some battery! Hey Yall! My most sincere appologies for not updating. I know that once again I have left everyone dangling in suspence, waiting to know what has been going on in the "Life and Times" of Colleen. Haha, Well... maybe not all that, but my VSU internet has been really sucky lately... it will let me on for a few minutes a day, and then shut off and not let me back on. Suck for me that this is registration week too... I LOSE! haha Im up here at the library right now, even thought I should be studying my math, or packing for my trip to Savannah tomorrow. Im heading home for springbreak! whooo hoo. Everyone else I know is going to some condo or hotel on the beach, but that's okay... cause Ill be in SAVANNAH! Hopefully Ill be able to take a trip up to Athens too, but we'll figure that out when the time comes.

Well, lets back track a bit, shall we?! Last week was increadable! ST PATTYS!! The weather sucked, it was absolutely freezing, hardly any of our plans worked out, and we did close to nothing... and it was still the BEST St. Patricks Day weekend ever! I had so much fun seeing old friends, and going downtown, and just hanging out, it was amazing! I guess thats what its really all about anyways! Wednesday, I got together with Ginny and we met up with a few people and played in an arcade and had a 99 cent kids meal, then um "had an experience" (haha) after meeting up with Michael King and Adam. Fun Times Fun Times - haha Ginny! Thursday was too cold to go to the parade, but we all met up for lunch at Olive Garden with Amy. That night we went downtown and saw close to everyone, met up with Daniela and Andrea and a few others... Got in to Coyote's for like 20 minutes, then met up with Michael King and his croud for a few and finished the night off with some late night Huddle House! Friday was a better downtown night... We went down there with Cody, John, Patrick, and Tyler (plus Ginny and Me ALL in my car! haha) And met up with Sheldon to go to his room for a few. We also met up with Justin May and the majority of us ended up at Coyotes where Ginny and I "got our dance groove on" haha. Cody fell in the bushes on the way back to the car, but hey... thats just a typical Cody thing to do. Then I drove everyone back to Southside ( I was the Double D) and a few of us stayed at Johns new Heezy. I went to go see the tigers at the car place with my Mommy on Saturday, and we all tried to meet up at Cara's house that night.. but plans ended up falling through. It was really good to see everyone again, especially Nadia, who I dont really see that much anymore. Sunday I woke up a little late. I had to be on the road by 10... but didnt wake up till 9:36. Sucks to be me... turns out the "Mandatory" Chi-O thing that I rushed back for was just a 3 1/2 hour long "workshop" on the songs we sing during rush! GOSH!!
**Okay Im done with that... haha. Well, I guess since I started posting Tommy drama on this site, I should just go ahead and finish it. Im done with it... no really, I am! He was in Savannah for a few days and didnt even call me. When I called him to see what the deal was, he said he "didnt know" weather or not he was going to call me. I understand that he was there to see his uncle, and in no way would have wanted to take away from that... but seriously a phone call wouldnt have hurt. To top it off, I hadnt even spoken with him in a week. I guess I just dont have time for "Sketch-Balls" like that. Haha. But Ive figured it out.... let me break it down for yall!
Okay heres the little psychology leason for the day!: During conditioning, there is something called the "period of acquisition" where you brain is adapting to a certian pattern/lifestyle/stimulus. During this period, you become accustomed to your "conditioning", in my case... Tommy. After a while, for whatever reason, you go through something called a "period of extinction" where you brain does just what you think it would... it untrains itself from the conditioning. You learn to void yourself from everything you had previously learned about that pattern/lifestyle/stimulus. Then after a while, in some cases, after you have already gone through your period of extinction... you can have a flashback of the conditioned responce. If you are around something that reminds you of the conditioning, you can trigger whats called a "spontaneous recovery"... in my case, all my emotions and what not. The spontaneous recovery is very breif, but very strong... kind of like a closure to your conditioning. So basically... thats the explination of all that! Boo-Yah! Im so SMART! (or not)

Hey Yall! Im sitting here on a beautiful spacious landscape, where theres nothing to see for miles around... If "beautiful spacious landscape" really means 9am English class, then YES... im on a beautiful spacious landscape! But on the bright side, atleast Im not having to do work... I can type my Mindsay journals instead. Im happy to report that Im over my hotornot.com addiction (thanks again Amy for hooking me on that one, haha), and I think my mindsay.com addiction is starting to resurface. Ah, my closet passion for online activities... how sad am I, I LOSE!
Well speaking of "I LOSE", I guess this week I really do! I woke up yesterday morning, and saw half of MaryBeth's stuff moved out. She got her own room on the 4th floor, and moved out of our room. When I inquired about it, she said it had nothing to do with our argument, but instead she's having to isolate herself to focus on her grades. We had dinner, so I know everything is cool between us, but its not going to be the same! My room is so empty, and boring, and CLEAN... I dont know if I can handle this. I guess this is going to help ME focus on MY grades too. Im tired of focusing on my social life here anyways. Maybe (and well see about all this) I can spend most of my time studying and going to Chi-O stuff, and not worry about going out everytime theres something going on... or worry about trying to find someone to date here. Im making a personal decision (and you can back me on this if you want) that Im NOT going to try and find anyone to date here in V-Town. Like I explained to a friend of mine, "I think I finally know what Im looking for, and even if I dont find it in the person that I think Im going to find it in... I know Im not going to find it at a frat house here, or out late some weekend night..."
And to top it all off, I still havent been able to get in touch with Tommy. If any of yall dont know me.. I have an awful habit of over thinking things, always have... probably always will (I guess I get it from my mommy...haha) <I think its even on my list of "bad habits" on my profile> SO ofcourse, Im going to over think this situation too. Im trying hard not to, because I know its not the right or sensible thing to do. I guess some would even say that Im being irrational, but I think that this is where my quote of the day comes in (and if any of yall have ever been in a similar situation, I know you can vouch)...
On a lighter note, its only a week away from SAVANNAH TIME, and 8 days away from St Patricks Day!!!! (Im so excited, that I just cant hide it!) Its going to be so much fun, I can hardly wait! Well, I guess that I should do something productive with my time for atleast 10 minutes... so Im off to read the NYTimes (what a scholar I am!) Love Yall!
